The Mosson Marching Band, once known as "Corpo Bandistico S.Gaetano di Mosson", was founded in 1910.

It was born as a "brass fanfara". Later in the 50s, the woodwind and percussion sections were added. For 50 years, the group perfomed national and international music for bands.

As the years went by, the band got near the marvellous world of Marching Bands performing a new parade and show repertoire. In 2003 the name changed into Mosson Marching Band highlight the new changes. Nowadays, the MMB is a strongtie between the old band tradition which marked the association for a whole century, and the new idea of the modern group.

The MMB has been performing meeting the public approval both for the musical achievements and for the marching band abilities. The MMB is led by professional teachers with degrees. The characteristics of the old band have been replaced by a new hard-working group, always interested into new ideas and styles.

In 2003 the MMB partecipated in the World Championship (WAMSB) in Monza with a Free Style Parade. In 2004, in the Italian Championship (IMSB) in Monza where it gained the 4th place in the Show competition and the 2nd place in the Stop&Play Parade, in 2005 in the IMSB championship it gained the 1st place in the Stop&Play Parade; in the same year the MMB Junior Section gained the 2nd place in the "Concorso per Bande Veneto" too; in 2006 the MMB gained again the 1st place in Stop&Play Parade and the 2nd place in the Show Competition.
